I find myself in stranger locations by the day. It has been years since I’ve left the village and now I know not where I am, but merely know that instinct and familiarity will eventually bring me home. I can only hope that my return to the village is a cheerful one. There have been many developments in the past few months alone. A thought for another time, I suppose.
On my travels I have met other Wild Hunters of other tribes. I have even met a Hunter of the famed and endangered Great Pandas. A fierce warrior he was and well versed in the art of the heavy hammers. Many times did he nearly break my sword in a spar but many times were his hammers thrown from his grip. Wise and knowledgeable, fierce and powerful. He truly brings honour and respect to the tribe of the Great Panda Hunters.
I suppose now it is time that I find myself some dinner. Night encroaches quickly here at these higher latitudes. Maybe some fish this time around with the use of a spear. I’ll have to see.

It seems the times have become stranger than I had anticipated, than anyone from the village had anticipated in the form of creatures that I had only heard of in myths. Though, if Hunters like myself exist, it seems logical that others exist as well. Why not? After all, humans do have a habit of hiding truths.
Speaking of which, it seems that humans are not as hateful of us as we thought. Merely, it is their insatiable desire to conquer that drives them to be so brutal. It’s not much of an improvement over my last belief but at least this time around I might be able to help quell some of it. I have heard that there are other Hunters who work to promote peace between creature and human. So far, though, I have not heard of much success.
Still, there is something I wish to investigate. The whispers of the Hunters of the sea have floated onto the Hunters of land and air. Creatures of the sea are rising out of the oceans in droves. Water craft of all sizes have been attacked. Human militaries seem to be responding but many other humans protest violent actions.
I wish to know more…

I find myself in the most peculiar of situations. From one continent to another I had walked. Across an ocean I had traversed aboard one a massive freight ship that was crewed by humans under the spell of a creature I do not yet recognize. The smell was frightening and I do not dare to let my mind wander in an effort to find out what it was. I can only say that it had the rancid stench of burnt and defiled blood that had no natural characteristic to it save for the host that it resided within.
Either way, I am in a new country on a new continent. I know not of what awaits me but I do know that blending in will be far more difficult here than elsewhere. While the rest of the world has learned to tolerate these “newly arisen mythical creatures”, as humans have said, this country seems to find adaptation to be somewhat difficult. Before I may have tried once or twice to enter a town across the sea and I was at least tolerated, whether in my “feral” form or my “anthropomorphic” form. Such silly words of humans. I would rather stick with the tongue of Hunters. Back on point, now it seems when I try to enter a shop, I am immediately turned away even when I present fine furs and hides that I have harvested, cured, and treated. Curious situations and curious people.
No bother. Now I must continue on. I have worked my way further south into warmer weathers. Weathers where the humidity and the warmth give me comfort and wrap me in their familiar arms to remind me of my home.
