The Rusty blade is a Tavern for all kinds of creatures whether human, lycan. Vampire hybrid, half breed or whatever the being may be. This Tavern is a place of rest and relaxation as well as food and drinking… all those that enter as kept under a close watch by the bar keep for she is a gun slinging, blade twirling maiden who doesn’t take well to violence but sure knows how to end it. Sitting off in the corner Kylie would glance around the room watching all those who enter and exit the tavern, her attention is caught by someone who had just entered. Having sat up all night due to nightmares Kylie would close her eyes briefly before reopening them, the salute of a man standing in the opposite corner of the room shrouded in dark clothing his face covered so that no one would be able to see him.
An uneasy feeling came over Kylie as she placed her hands on her daggers, as she did this is man would look her directly in the eyes and remove the hood that covered his face. A scar running down his right cheek, his eyes a crystal blue color skin a pale ghostly white as if he had never stepped foot in the sun, fangs emerging as Kylie took a drink of the vodka that set beside her, her heart beginning to race as she looked around the room knowing this man was at least part vampire. This was not the best day for a half breed to be in the Tavern as today it was filled with creatures who despised them with every ounce of their being. Kylie could only imagine the outcome of the day, her eyes shifted to the deep silver that they normally were when she was cautious of her surroundings.
Standing Kylie would walk over to the bar and grab a bottle of the finest rum she had and walk over to the man standing in the corner opposite the one she was in just moments prior to her getting up, placing her hand on his as she took in a deep breath. Kylie was different she could sense the soul or lack of soul in a being with the simple touch of her hand to their skin, taking in a deep breath as the temperature of her hand began to change the second she placed her hand on the man’s arm. Slightly shaken Kylie would take a step back as a tear dropped from her eye, knowing pain and anger that the man has felt for many years, she could read his emotions better than anyone else in the room as they all turned their attention to watch over Kylie, not trusting the man for they knew his kind. Removing her hand from his arm Kylie she would draw in another deep breath and start to walk away from the man back towards the bar to grab herself yet another glass of the finest vodka in all the known world.

Sitting in the darkest area possible of the tavern Caelyn's grey hues observe all, she sips from the tall glass of coke, served with ice and a slice of course just to make something common feel classy, she hates social gatherings and loves to melt in the background, there she was no different to anyone else. She noted the ever watchful eye of the barmaid and gave her a polite dip of the head to let her know that Caelyn intended no trouble. Coca cola was her favored drink mainly because she did not trust herself drunk and could never afford to let her guard down, the reasons for this she kept a closely guarded secret which she only told to very few people whom had managed to gain her trust. She glanced over her cheap black PVC strapped watch to make it look as if she was waiting for somebody, oh how she longed for friendship and yet her lack of confidence and trust always held her back. She adjusted her Onyx cotton boob tube so it sat properly again and smoothed midnight cotton knee length skirt down before unbuttoning her crimson denim jacket and with a simple flick of the wrist she placed it behind the mahogany stool she was sat on so it rested securely behind her for ease of access. She swept her hair from her face with a rapid flick of her hands again and began to comb out the tangles of her silken raven black hair with a tortoise shell small plastic comb that was missing some of it's teeth. She noticed a movement in the corner of her eye and looked to where it was coming from, it was then she noticed the young looking dark haired girl walking to the bar with tears rolling down her cheeks, she usually kept her distance, however Caelyn could not stand seeing a female cry, somehow this always tugged at her heart strings, so she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before donning her jacket once more and approaching the bar from the other side and walking straight towards the girl, her flat, unlaced black leather ankle boots hardly made a sound on the thin carpet as she walked, her hips slightly swaying with each and every step. Her approach was slow and with a warm, relaxed, friendly smile on her face, the one that pulls her cheeks into dimples and gives a slight glint to her eye. She places her gloved hand, her gloves were racing style finger less black leather and studded, into her pocket before buying the girl a drink, the same branded Vodka she had been consuming and a Firebrand Whiskey for herself. An act of kindness which she hoped would reap it's own reward, she then walked back to her own stool allowing the girl the opportunity to approach Caelyn in her own time, if indeed that would be her wish. Caelyn tapped her well manicured noir short and rounded nails on the solid mahogany table before making a grab for the carton of cigarettes from her pocket and petrol lighter before finishing her coca cola with a few swigs, then walking towards the exit where she would make brief eye contact with the girl and hold up her cigarettes, nodding towards the gilded doors to motion she could join her for a smoke if that was her choosing. Outside in the cool air and on the unfamiliar streets she lit up her cigarette and observed the night sky, the beauty of the full, silvery moon which was partially covered by a few clouds and the stars, she had not yet seen the night sky this clearly before and the spectacle amazed her. The Ice cold cola did nothing for her body temperature and she fought the urge to shudder, it was clear she should have planned this trip better and bought thicker clothes with her,but she would not for one moment show an ounce of weakness, showing even a grain of weakness was when others took advantage, or that's what Caelyn thought to herself, so she simply wrapped her free arm around herself for warmth and comfort as she took a hit from her cigarette. Again she looked at her wrist watch, this time it was for the time, she had best get moving soon if she wanted to be permitted back into the youth hostel she was lodged at, the old couple were strict and rarely let anybody in beyond ten-thirty pm latest, although she had at least two to three hours left she longed for a relaxing soak in the tub, providing it was free and some sleep. Caelyn could barely remember the last time she had a decent night's sleep, the constant change in location always did this to her, she always found it hard to settle in new surroundings and as such she always kept her stuffed toy animal rabbit with her and a portrait of her mother and father in the breast pocket of her jacket. However she had to make this trip, she wanted to at least see different cultures, different people. challenge her comfort zones and expand her mind. She had made a vow to herself to travel the world and see everything while she was still young and she was not going to give up now just because she was a little uncomfortable with something.... And besides that girl..... The image of the tears rolling down the girl's cheeks strengthened her resolve, she would stay at least as long as she was able in case the girl wanted to make a new friend. Yes the girl seemed different, in fact most patrons seemed different to Caelyn, but all Caelyn knew was her adoptive parents, her mother Talia was a Succubus and her father...... What was her father? Caelyn thought he was a vampire but didn't care to ask, she knew he was a demon of sorts, but the fact was when her own kind abandoned her and sent her to her death at the tender age of around four, they took her in an raised her as their own, becoming all she had and all she needed...... That was until that odd night in the ever dark forest and that strange woman had awoken her thirst for knowledge..... The hauntingly beautiful woman...... Her whole self was different, half alive and classically beautiful and half decayed and rotten, she made a deal with this woman two years ago and she has never regretted it. Many Wicca circles declare her as the Goddess Hel, daughter of Loki, there are whispers that she be treated with caution, however Caelyn knew that if it was not for Hel she would not be here today. She heard the door open and softly shut so her head whirls around in the direction of the door, hoping the girl has taken up her offer to see a jovial young looking blonde, fair skinned male stagger off down the street somewhere, this however snapped her out of her train of thoughts and she continued to enjoy the night sky and calming effects of her cigarette.
